Upon purchase of a license, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Codex QR software in accordance with these Terms and the specific license type purchased:

• Starter License: Single user, one computer installation
• Professional License: Single user, multiple computer installations
• Team License: Multiple users as specified in the license

3.2 Online Services

Our online QR scanner is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. We reserve the right to limit or discontinue this service at any time.

3.3 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
• Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the software
• Use the software to create competing products
• Share your license key with unauthorized users
• Use the software for illegal purposes

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing

Current pricing is available on our website. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect active licenses purchased before the change.

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment is processed through our payment provider (LemonSqueezy). By making a purchase, you agree to their terms of service.

4.3 Subscription vs One-Time

• Subscription Plans: Automatically renew unless cancelled. You will be charged the then-current rate upon renewal
• One-Time Purchase: Perpetual license with no recurring charges. Updates included for the purchased major version

4.4 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 30 days for a full refund. Refunds are not available after 30 days from the purchase date.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your license key
• Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws
• All QR codes generated using our software
• Backing up your data and generated QR codes
• Using the software on compatible systems

6. Intellectual Property

Codex QR, including all software, website content, logos, and documentation, is owned by IYIA and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of QR codes you generate using our software.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IYIA shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the software
• QR codes that fail to scan or contain errors

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

9. Updates and Support

9.1 Software Updates

• Subscription licenses: Receive all updates while subscription is active
• One-time licenses: Receive updates within the major version purchased

9.2 Technical Support

We provide email support at info@codexqr.app. Response times may vary. Priority support is available for Team and Enterprise customers.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Use the software for illegal purposes
• Share your license key with unauthorized users
• Engage in fraudulent activity

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and delete all copies.

11. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use information.

12. Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., payment processors, advertising). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where IYIA operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
